Dua, teveccüh, münâcaat koroları oluşturma; Cenâb-ı Hakk’a toptan teveccüh etme. Nasıl sadaka belayı ref’ eder; aynen öyle, ekseriyetin hâlisâne duası da ferec-i umumîyi cezbeder.

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ كَرِيمٌ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنَّا، يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ * اَللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا، يَا غَفَّارُ، يَا سَتَّارُ، اِغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا كُلَّهَا، وَاسْتُرْ عُيُوبَنَا كُلَّهَا

Allahım, şüphesiz Sen affetmek şanından olan Afüvv, ikram u ihsan denince akla gelen yegâne Kerim’sin; affetmeyi çok seversin. Bizi affeyle, ey Erhamerrahimîn. Bizi yarlığa, merhamet buyur bize. Ey Gaffâr, ey Settâr, günahlarımızın tamamını mağfiret buyur; bütün ayıplarımızı setreyle.

My God, undoubtedly you are the All-Pardoning from the glory of forgiveness. When the beauty of pardon is mentioned, you are the sole All-Munificent One that comes to mind; you love to forgive. Forgive us, O the All-Merciful! Forgive us, show us Your mercy. O the All-Forgiving, the Concealer, pardon our sins completely, conceal all of our faults.
